So I went to Horseshoe again since it's right down the road from my house and again didn't haven't much luck. Caught a few largemouth that were only about 5 inches long. I let those go but then I got another bite. I reeled it in and... it was a walleye! Huh? Ya... I've never heard of anyone catching a walleye in this lake or walleye being in this lake period. It was only 5-6 inches and after admiring it, I gently put the little guy back so I could catch him again in a year or so when he's big. Haven't really had too much luck on this lake but I'm stubborn and I'm trying to learn how to fish with plastic worms. I'll be back tomorrow.

I was thinking the same thing. I then thought of bucket biologists, but, my lord, the fish would have had to have been transported so far from the nearest walleye waters, I would find it hard to believe they would survive the trip. Had to have been a perch.

Could've been. It was small and I was comparing it to the adult picture of it in the WDFW book. Even if it was a perch... I never expected it to be in Horseshoe. It definately caught me off guard when I got it in the boat. If I hook it again, I'll definately take a picture of it. Kinda looked like if a bass and a blue gill got it on. lol.
