Here is a pic of a 16" Cutt along with a pic of a 16" Whitefish.
The Cutt gave a great fight and went airborne thrice.
(I had promised my uncle "Al" that I'd put his name on a fish since he couldn't join me this time out.)

The Cutts seem to be getting a little thicker. The searuns are arriving I guess because the 14"ers had sea lice on them.

In 2.5 hrs I hooked 5 and landed 3 cutts, plus 2 of the Whitefish. Using leaded line, 3 colors, south end of lake. Small flasher/wedding ring/small chunk of nightcrawler.

Saw plenty of humongus Kings rolling over on the surface. They looked quite dark in color of course.

Looking forward to Autumn and Winter cutthroat fishing as they get fatter and more numerous.

Have fun!
Dave

Pictures didn't come through, I'd really like to see that 16" whitefish! Good to see someone taking advantage of the tight thermocline this time of year.

Have been getting cutts at about 25'. I use leaded line, 3 1/2 colors out, at a moderate speed.
I will repost with pics, I either forgot or the interwebs didn't work.
