this is actually a report for tue and wed. Even though perch was what was mostly caught we were trolling for squawfish(bait for upcoming crab trip). using perch colored rapalas. trolled 13-25 foot of water. Staying on the outside edge of weeds at sportsmans cove. going about 1.5 mph. In 2 days we caught 12 perch, 2 crappies and 5 squawks. 1 of the crappies was 13 inches, perch sizes were 9, 9 3/4, 10, 10, 10 1/4, 11, 11 1/2, 12, 12 3/4, and 13 3/4. l measured them for the avista fish reporting. I figure if i'm catching these fish trolling a guy who can find them and jig fish might slaughter them. The best part of it is my 4yr old daughter and son are having a blast catching them. We threw a few smaller perch back also. water temps are 62-67.
