Co worker offered a spot on his boat for some fishing on Sammamish. How could I pass it up?? On the water @ 6:45-off @12:30. Tried various colors and depths. A lot of fish surfacing w/ no bites though. Most everything worked once, kind of hit & miss. My producer ended up being 00 herring dodger and a blue/wht double glow hootchie tipped w/ worm. Good size, girth and fight. 32-36` was great. Landed 5 cutts, 2 fat koks and 1 catfish(@ 40` in 70` of water??). Most lures were spinners. The only plasitc was the hootchie I used. Missed quite a few bites. More for next time I guess.............

I had the same luck on Sat. Had 6 to the side of the boat.Had about that many on but lost.kept 2 because they were bleeders.I try to let everything go unharmed. There were two guys fishing with fly rods and flys.I will try that next time out.Not happy with the Discover pass and launch fee for a total of $17.00 with out the $30 pass.

fishosprey1 - Hunting and fishing on WDFW-managed lands. The Discover Pass is not required for holders of certain hunting and fishing licenses on WDFW recreation lands and water-access sites. For those individuals, a "WDFW vehicle access pass" will be required for vehicle access to WDFW lands and boat launches. WDFW will honor WDFW vehicle use permits that were purchased prior to July 1, 2011, on WDFW lands through March 31, 2012 thanks for report !
