My six year old boy and I headed out to Angle lake around 2:30 and stayed until about 4:30. We caught nothing, but we had a great time on the dock watching this other guy reel em in as fast as he was casting out. I mean wow were we jealous... what is wrong with us?

He was using a simple jig and putting on a small piece of shrimp on the hook. casting out to where we saw some jumping and reeling em in! Both male and female deep red in color and put us decent fights. He was real nice and let us in on the action even sharing tips and some of his shrimp for us to use. We were all casting in the same spot but his action was just better then our because all I got was a simple nibble here and there while he was reeling em in.

Best part was that my son didn't want to leave but we had chores at home to do so we couldn't stay. All in all, great day fishing... for the other guy! Good times.
