Started fishing @ jerrys around 9:30am and left around 3:30pm. Caught over 30 Perches ranging from 4"-9", 1 small pike and a fatty catfish. Was slow throughout the day but at times there was some none stop action too. Ice was super thick!!! About 10"-12" and rock hard. I use a Red and white grub with a white glow in the dark swedish pimple (worked very well for the morning). Once noon came I use a green scud, jigging spoon (perch color) with a sliver green backside Swedish pimple (they loved it). All baited with maggots. I fished more in the middle of the lake straight across the resort. Lots of missed hit also but NO CRAPPIE? Anyone have a idea where there are in this lake? I tired my crappie set but had no luck? Anyways still was fun but cold. GL Fishing and be safe;)

well you are close! Swedish pimple and maggots are the way to go... i was out too yesterday caught a bunch of crappie... if you wanna catch crappie you gotta go just north of jerry s, im sure you saw me out there yesterday. i was sitting just past the guy in the green tent. so to give you an sitting go about 200yds north of jerry s and fish 30 yards from shore. just jig your pimple about 6ft off the bottom and from 2-4pm you rake in the crappie. my fam has a place right there on shore so im out there at least 3x a week. maybe we will run into one another...
hope this helps
tight lines and good luck

Went back today!! And yes finally landed some crappie!! I fished about 200 yards right of jerrys about 30-50 yrds out from shore. It was slow but was happy to be out again. Caught about 10 keeper perch(7" up) and release about 9 back. 8 decent crappie, 4 large bass that were 6"-9" (all release). And a pickeral again....probably going trout fishing tomorrow....TIRED of jigging LOL....
