5/2/2012 8:05:00 PMThe brookies early in the season hide out in the lilly pads on the far side of the lake . Its kinda odd because the best method for catching the big brookies is kinda like bass fishing . Panther martins work best the pink and white with the black dots work best just cast alone the edges of the pads and do a reel pause reel reel pause type of retrieve. Like I said the only way to really hook the lunkers is dont fish like you are trout fishing fish like you are after finicky bass. Hope this helps you out ..!
