As a new fisher, I think I found what the fish like at this lake. I used a single pink powerbait floating pellet on a small hook with a couple of sinkers about one foot or more away from the hook. Cast that into the lake from shore, had a seat, and waited. I believe these fish like patience. Caught 5 within 2 hours. I did the same the next day. Good lake, good fish, bring a book or enjoy the view. The Bald Eagles catch fish from this lake too. Pretty nice sight.
