Tried a "dinner" run on the lake. Picked up dinner on the way to the lake and launched at 6pm. Got the kids set up with their meals and proceeded to troll three lines. The water was calm and there were quite a few people on the lake. Didn't see much being caught, but trout surfacing everywhere. Tried wedding ring with night crawler, a needlfish, and Rapala. The Rapala had one take down, but it came unbuttoned on a jump. Tried switching out other gear between various spoons and flatfish. Managed about an hour of fishing before the kids were done. No other hits. A couple guys fishing at the launch had picked up two average sized trout fishing the bottom. They both said it had been slow.
