Very entertaining night, all together saw about 10 fish, three in the boat (2 30 inchers and a fatty 41), one upper 30s decided to try flying and spit my bucktail, one solid fish stuck for just a second, a couple little guys that got off and a couple chasers. Just one of those nights where every cast was full of anticipation. Bunch of bass too, including one smaller than my bait. Be back on the water in the AM before the weekend warriors come out. I have been fishing Tapps now for two summers, and I know I have seen a few of you guys in passing, most of my buddies are not avid anglers, I would really love to get in the boat with someone who shares my passion for these toothy critters.

Thanks guy! It's hard to beat a good day on the water. FishinChristian, I have been fishing muskies for as long as I've been able to handle the gear, I grew up in MN and caught a lot of really nice solid high 40 inch fish, but I am cursed with the number 50, however I unofficially measured a fish just over 50 right here on Tapps two summers ago.

If your are a real "tiger" hunter, then you must see the tree sculpture of a tiger muskie in front yard of 210th Tapps Island and the main entrance. Is the corner house across from the boat launch. Is an exceptional chain saw sculpture!

Very nice! And if you are looking for a partner that enjoys fishing musky I am someone who enjoys it very very much! Iv been out to Tapps many times for musky and have enjoyed fishing for them its definatly something I would enjoy doing more of if you need a musky partner.

You said you've been fishing out at Tapps for 2 years. What kinda boat are you tootling around in? I've never seen you out on the water. Just wondering is all. So far where is your favorite area to fish out on Tapps? Todd

Yes this actually my third summer, and I am rolling around out there in a white Stratos, 150 Mercury.
