9/18/2012 10:45:00 AMI was out the middle of last week with pretty much the same results. Caught a total of about 12 with one smallie around 3.5lbs and one largemouth around 7lbs. The 7lber was so old she only had half a tail left from so many years of spawning. I think the main problem right now at Long is the ten million 1-2in smallmouth everywhere. Every area I tried was loaded with school after school of smallmouth younguns. Also caught five squaws that I fed to the Ospreys.

9/18/2012 1:22:00 PMI fished it a week ago. 3 over 5lb lm and 5 over 3lb sm. I did not catch any small fish? just the 8 total. swimbaits and blades?
