Unbelievable! Skirted the VA hospital for three hours with my neighbor in my Port-a-bote using night crawlers, perch-eyes, artificial baits, even the kitchen sink! We never even had a nibble all afternoon, even though the fish finder was lit up like a Christmas tree the whole time we were on the water; the deeper we fished, the more fish we tracked. Is anybody else having the same kind of luck as ours or are we just "holding our mouths wrong?" This has been the worst month of fishing that I can ever remember, absolutely no bites for perch and that never happens.
