I went to Carlisle, Plummers, and Borst lake opening day, and Carlisle was by far the best of the three. I was there from about noon to four and caught and released about fifteen 6-11 inch rainbows, I also caught a nice brown trout, probably about 12-13 inches. My fishing buddy Tyler, who caught several rainbows also, and I were using the classic red spoon with a curved white stripe down the middle. We got most of our strikes fishing from the shoreline to the left of the trout pins Most of our strikes and about half of the fish we landed were hooked with in 10 feet of shore. A trip well worth it if you don't mind getting really muddy.
