We hit the lake about 11:30 to see if we could find some fish. We launched & started trolling south & then we'd cut across the middle and repeat the loop. We tried Woolley Buggers in various colors, flatfish & a wedding ring. My dad caught 4 nice trout (12-13") and although I had a couple of hits, I got skunked this trip. Two of the trout were caught using black & green Woolley Buggers & the other two were caught using a light-colored Bugger. Fish were biting when we changed the speed of the electric motor. It was raining lightly most of the time we were out, and it rained really hard for about 10 minutes before the sun came out to stay. I was happy to be out fishing again even though I didn't catch a fish. We'll be back!
