Had a great day on the lake with my cousin and buddy from work but the bass were just not biting. Got on the water around 815am and left at 315pm. We tried everything shallow, points, grass edges, humps and could not get them to open their mouths and bite! Used mostly Black Spinner baits which have worked so well in the past. Water temps started the day at 51.5 and ended at 58.5 so it's getting close I think!

It was sunny and windy most of the day but our small rush of fish came when a cloud blocked out the sun for about 30 minutes. In those 30 minutes we caught 3 LMB all on a lipless crankbait. Running it right over the top of the grass/weed beds was the ticket and the colors needed to be dark. The picture is the only fish that was worthy of a pic 17 inches and 3lbs very chunky fish that put up a good fight!

Also had a great time with my new Electronics and side scan and the new iPilot motor was awesome holding us in place in the wind and recording a track and running it over and over I would highly recommend.

Tight Lines,
EB
