Well my day started at 0430 taking my daughter to Lake Tye in Monroe for the kids fishing derby. She had a blast putting fish in the cooler. Or dragging them around like a dog on a string in the sand and hugging them hard to say. No real big on the biggest was 1lbs. As I headed home I saw how nice Stevens looked and decided to take the boat out and have some Me time. As I pulled into the launch I saw Rseas and stopped to say hi and see the news of the happenings for some tips. After a great visit it was time to play in the water before my window closed. Around 1730-1800 I was on the water and worked out some of the winter bugs on my organization my first kok trip of the year. Got my offerings out on flat line and one on the DR at 15ft. Seen fish jumping and headed in the direction. Switched out some lures and got one in the boat after about 30 min. My speed seemed faster at an idle from last year and then the wind picked up making it hard to control. I used the purple and pink Dick nite dodger with a fly type home lure with corn and maggot offering. I also fished the steel fender out of the launch area I sure would hate to hit that with a prop. Head home as it started to sprinkle. Sorry no pic I would say about 12 incher with the wind I didnt want to fight the boat and I forgot my hip boots. Tight lines

Good job stud, both on the fender and the kokanee.

Thanks. the kokanee was a bonus I didnt expect any and I didnt want any one to hit the fender props and lower units arent cheep and I had my boat hook on board. I also forgot my net which was realized when I had the fish coming in.
