A friend and I launch from the County Park, which is still free, around 11. Fiished around tapps island bridge, nothing. fishing along dike 12. hit 3 fish really quick from 2-3.5 pounds on drop shot. Moved to the snag island causeway but the wind picked up. couldn't stay on a spot. Hit a few more humps around the main body of the lake. Didn't hook anything, and the wind was moving us at an ungodly rate. So we moved into Deer Island. Stuck 1 nice smallie around 3 pounds. then nothing. We moved into a channel by interlake island to get out of the wind. caught one fish about 2 pounds off the culverts under the causeway. Finally figured out how to get out of the wind along the docks near the tapps Island bridge. Stuck 2 more 2.5 pounders off the deep docks on drops shot. Not a bad afternoon. All fish from 8-12 feet deep.
