Decided to quit being lazy and get out and do some fishing. Went up sat. morning and forgot the downrigger balls. flat lined a couple rods and ended up getting 4 to the boat and loosing a few. Decided to go up this morning and try to get some fish for the smoker. Started out fishing 35ft using a pink and green wedding ring spinner with a dark pink smiley blade. nothing on that so switched to the tried and true red wedding ring with brass blade and dropped her down to 45ft. Right off the bat got two in the boat and after that proceeded to loose the next 7 fish. It got frustrating. But I hung in there and eventually got 5 kokes. I was also running a led line with a pink n silver wedding ring that picked up one fish but the majority of the fish came off the downrigger at 45ft and one at 55ft. Nothing special about the size of the fish, all were 10-12inches. Friday I will remember the second downrigger and have two running deep. Good luck out there.
