After having a spectacular morning fishing Deep Lake we decided to fish Blue Lake in the afternoon.
We launched the boat and headed north along the houses. There was a strong wind from the south so we used the wind to our advantage. We trolled the same Flatfish's, with no weight, as we did at Deep Lake. We started to catch fish as soon as we put our lines in the water. Fish after fish after fish. All though the Blue Lake fish were smaller than the fish at Deep Lake the action was just as good.
Most people don't fish in front of the houses on Blue Lake. They usually fish at the south end of the lake by the resort. Trolling in front of the houses is probably the most productive area on Blue Lake.
