2 trips really. One with jigmeister, one alone, 2 days apart, both seeps lakes. First day: Jiggy and I caught 7 bass, up to 6.75 lbs, with the smallest about 16". Tough day, but we found the pattern. Plastics and topwater.
2nd day: Got a call from my grandson, saying he hadn't fished in too long. Couldn't let that go unresolved. 14 bass, up to 7.75 lbs, all topwater, and a 16" crappie. I got the biggest bass, but he got the crappie, on a Jiggy grub. He got a 5.5 lb bass as well.

Did you also get a call from Jiggy, saying he'd not fished in too long (i.e. probably about 1 day)? :-)

Were you guys up in the Quincy-area Basin?

Can't quarrel about a 16" crappie - very nice!!

More toward Othello. And for him it had been an hour, and he was in severe withdrawal. He was gibbering and twitching a lot... Course, that is his normal state..

LOL. Glad you enjoyed Red Rock Lake. Shiner Lake. Hutchinson Lake. No, wait, too many pelicans/cormorants, and too far. Black Lake. DOH!! Start over. Red Rock Lake - he mentioned that one, for unfathomable reasons. No, wait!! Potholes!! Uh, I give up.....

Glad you made Jiggy right. BTW, is fishing separation anxiety disorder (FSAD) in the DSM-V? (Cynically, probably not if there isn't a major drug addressing it....) ..... ;-P

Your guesses are good. Not accurate but good. And you're right Hutch and Shine are pretty dead, at least last year.

And in this case, as with most avid fishermen, I think it's PAD. Piscatorial Absence Disorder. I suggest Haldol, Risperdol, Seroquel, Amitryptoline, Nanites, Electroconvulsive Therapy, Aversion Therapy, DBT, EBST, AEIOU, AND exercise (as if you could still move with all that!).
That or put everything into a cast. On a lake. Take two Bass and call me in the morning. To tell me what you caught 'em on.
And congrats on even knowing what a DSM, or the current version, was!
Oh, based on these last 2 trips and Jiggy's inspiration, I think I may have a new bass harvester plastic coming. Just carved the mold! If it works, he can sell "em. If it works super well, nobody will ever see them (kidding).
