Started trolling west across from boat launch about 845am, then headed down to the south end of the lake. We were using different colored woolley buggers - I had some weight on my 2 lines (both of us have 2-pole endorsements) and a copper bugger on one pole & an olive with black tail on the other pole. I had my limit in about 2 hours or less. I always hand "pull" my line out so I know where to go back to when I catch a fish, so one pole was 28 pulls out & the other 33 pulls. Both poles caught fish. My dad initially wasn't using any weight on his 2 lines, so I had my limit before he caught his first fish! Once he put some split shot on & got deeper, he too started to catch fish. He uses a light olive bugger & a copper bugger. In all, we limited by 11:30 that day. Most of the fish were in the 12-13" range, with a couple at about 11". We were trolling in the 40-60 ft deep water, going across the lake & circling around the south end.

My half of the trout are in the smoker right now - looking forward to good eating!

One thing we noticed is that most of the fish had the anchor worm issue on the outside of the skin. We hosed-scaled them at home & that took care of the issue. We checked with WDFW in Mill Creek & they said they were safe to eat. So just posting this as information for anyone else who fishes the lake.
