went to rock for the first time this year, as it seems to pick up as it gets colder. fished with crustyliner. out of the launch, i dragged a stickbait, crusty used an apex on one pole and a fly on the other. he has a 2 pole endorsement, i dont. so after he catches 2, and i catch nothin, we motor up to the north end. the bite is pretty consistant, till about 10:30 when it sems to shut off. so we troll on down the east shorline back to the launch. the winning lure was an orange apex on 2 1/2 colors of lead core with a 30 ft leader, followed by a streamer fly behind an action disc. stickbaits got no love.

Looks like a great day and nice catch.
Wondering where you got the action discs. I've ordered some in the past but a local source would be nice.
Thanks in advance.

nice stringer of looks to be all bows too. When you say stick baits is a rapalla in that category. I am guessing yes. I am heading there this afternoon to try my luck too. Thanks for the post.

The only store I've seen them in was Ted's on 99th out of Lynwood on the west side. I'm going to Lewiston today, so ill check down there. Stickbaits are rapalas too. I like the suspending ones. The bigger the better for browns.
