Green lake feels like a slow start this winter on the Browns. I float tubed it last week for 2 hours. Felt like a popcicle without a single hit.

12/3/2013 11:07:00 AMi've been there several times. 2 winters ago i caught plenty of nice ones and had hooked several in the mid 20" range that had to be pushing 5 lbs. getting them hooked is 1 challenge. keeping them on is another far more difficult challenge. the big ones are smart and will barrel role like crazy while jumping and shaking when they start to get close to shore. keep at it and good luck. the green lake browns are the fish of thousands of casts.
