3/1/2014 9:14:00 PMPan fish like crappie tend to overcrowd and this reduces size. Taking some helps the fishery and gives you and family a great meal of fish. Some have fired over the bow at me for keeping fish that were put there to take ie the triploid rainbows at lake Roosevelt. Had a great meal tonight of fresh fish caught yesterday at Roosevelt!

8/7/2015 11:57:00 AMif your eating the fish don't let people get you down, just like hunting, removal of game helps with overcrowding and actually keeps these areas healthier. they set limits on game for a reason, if removing these fish hurt the population of fish in that lake then they would limit it. set your own limits if you want but don't let others convince you to. I've released many fish that I could have legally kept for my own reasons and felt good about it but it was my choice. I like to let big fish and small fish go to be caught and enjoyed another day. fish how you want , obey the regulations and enjoy!!! good reports, thanks.
