I love fishing for walleyes with walkers and worm harnesses and I am always looking to try some new colors, nice catch on all those delicious walleygators and thanks so much for the great information.

The perch colored smiley blades are actually yellow and chatruse #1's that I've used a black sharpie to add 3 stripes too and a hint of orange sharpie on the blade tips. Any fire tiger colored Colorado size 4 blades with red, orange or chartruse beads should work for moses walleye.

4/24/2014 8:50:00 PMThe walleye in Moses also feed on crawdads so gold works great too. The 1.1" gold smiley blade with a gold stack bead works great. Last May that was my go to lure and worked all day when other colors only seemed to work morning or evening. A worm on a slow death hook trolled 1.0 to 1.2 mph is also killer on Moses. Kudos to you Jigmeister for getting those 'eyes on jigs. Moses can be tough to jig at times, so I respect a guy that can go in and do that. I won't be there until late May so don't catch them all until I get a chance!

4/24/2014 9:15:00 PMAwesome advice brother fdelgado! My ace in the hole on Moses lake is that Rapala Shad Rap crankbait # 5 in (orange) Crawfish or the Perch #5 with the brightest orange belly you can find.

Those shad raps are my favorite cranks in both size 5 and 7. The clown color also works well at times. I also love the cotton cordell wally divers in perch colors. I have some old cotton cordells that are a chartreuse perch pattern and a foil type perch pattern. The smallmouths crush those things as hard as the walleyes. Those two can not be beat trolled or cast into shore when the carp are spawning in the tulies. The small perch, bluegill, and bullheads will go in to eat the eggs and the walleyes and bass are right in there as well eating the small fish. That action will be the first part of June. I have also caught a lot of walleyes throwing jigs in there as well.
