4/26/2014 6:18:00 PMNice mess of fish there! so do you put a smiley blade above the slow death hook? and live night crawlers or power ones? I remember that about Conley as I was over there last year and wanted to go Monday. Can you get to that area from another boat launch?

4/27/2014 8:36:00 AMI tried a smile blade but some times the leader would get all twisted up so we just use the slow death hook and live night crawlers. Pinch the worm off about 3/4" behind the hook and always check for a proper spin before letting it go down. And yes you can launch at Peninsula Park then head south to the end of the peninsula then head north going under the I-90 bridge, bear to the left(or stop in this area for crappie) about 2 or 3 miles it looks like you are at the end of the lake fish 9-11ft of water.

4/28/2014 12:49:00 PMJust an added tip, what I will do when fishing slow death, is I will tie a small invaisa swivel (sp) 6" in front of slow death hook. it spins freely and won't twist up your line. I find it helps a great deal and easier to get a nice spin with less worm so they get the hook easier.
