I arrived at the boatlaunch around 8:30 the wind was ripping and heavy ominous overcast. Like the die hard I am, I pumped up my raft and launched anyway, and fought my way all the way to the far end of the lake against the wind. On my first pass from the boatlaunch to the far end I went 7/12 I kept 4 of those and released the others, I made another pass along the far shore and went 4/6 all released, then I sensed rain was near so I let the wind row me back towards the launch, I used my oars like rudders, and changed directions to slow me down, I caught another 7 on way to the boatlaunch, realeased 6 and kept my last fish to finish my limit. all fish were caught on a rebel bumblebug (plug) just as I landed at the boatlaunch it started down pouring. I was packed up and off the lake by 10:30am. only 4 cars in the parking lot when I got there, and 7 when I left, which amazes me because it's an awesome lake that gets surprisingly low pressure.

Ha.. I've had that little bumblebee for years, never even fished it. Doesn't look like much a trout plug, more like a bass thing. Nice haul of fish though.

It slays the trout, it's one of my favorites.

The "rebel bumblebug", I have never seen one. Looks old school for sure. Where did you find it? How do you like the raft?

Rebel makes a whole line of mini plugs. Grasshoppers, mini crayfish, ect. All great on fish. I have used the grasshoppers for years.
