5/16/2014 6:32:00 AMYes, I cooked up the West Medical fish; one for me and the rest were cooked for the dog (literally); a hint of "grassy" was starting to show. The Sprague Lake fish and all trout this time of year taste a lot better if you clean them immediately after catching and put them on ice. Also, timing can be important with the early Spring fish better than late Spring on. A present smoking of early Spring Sprague Lake and a few West Medical Lake fish was delicious; all were cleaned and put on ice upon catching.
