The past 3 times I have been out on Meridian I have been skunked on the kokes. I have been throwing everything at them at all depths. I noticed today that in about 30 feet of water there were these strange clouds. They were swirling. I was thinking it was plankton or something along those lines. Not sure what it was but I bet its blocking sunlight from penetrating through making it hard for the fish to see. Any ideas of what it may be? Couldn't really take a picture as the sun would just reflect off the water into my lens.

Either algae or plankton... if it was plankton.. that is what the kokanee eat so it would have been a good area to jig or troll circles through. Send me a PM sometime soon and I will take you out and put you on some kokes.
