Cold early morning followed by a very nice, sunny mid-morning with near zero wind; however, the fishing was much slower than just a week or two ago. I did catch three and my friend four, but we seemed the exception with no real super hot bite for any of the other fishermen and fellow angler numbers were low. All fish were in the 10" - 14" class. My friend and I seemed to do better after scaling down the size of the PowerBait or PowerEgg presentation. Water quality was very good with no floating islands of the West Medical "Green Goo". I even saw a couple of turtles which reflected the good water quality.
