Hit Sprague Lake after grabbing an awesome breakfast at the Viking in Sprague. Fished from shore at the last boat launch area. Found a cool outcropping someone made and set up there. Many orange and red currants in the area. Spot was pretty trashed and there were receipts and car insurance with an address on it from a D.O. from the valley. Very classy Mr O. Looks like you had a great time drinking. I picked it all up with my boy so he wouldn't accidentally cut himself. Anyways, back to the fishing. Had one bite the first two hours we were there. Then between 12 and 2 the sun shone through the clouds a couple dozen times and had consistent action every time it was out. Noticed that a yellow/ orange/ yellow pattern was working very well with marshmallows. Powerbait wasnt too hot but had a couple bites. Only managed to land one fish, an 11" rainbow. Overall a nice day out on Sprague. This was my first at Sprague since before it was killed off. I would love to go back and give it another shot sometime soon when the weather is better and maybe on a boat.

Thank you so much for your litter P/U; my wife and I fish that general area a lot and like you, do a litter P/U on the SLOBS every time. We did very well on bigger trout this Spring, but our last trip was a SKUNK. Still worth trying, but I believe with the warmer water that the fish have moved to the lake's cooler springs areas. Both resorts have such areas within casting distance from their docks.

Yes Thank You for the clean up. The last time my wife and I were there (before rehab) there was a group there from another country (up by alaska) that when they left it looked like post woodstock.
