Well today was a short day for work so we decided to hit cavanaugh for some nice Kokanee. Got the gear in the water at about 3:30 and we were limited out by about 7:00. We fished in about 59 feet of water and kept the downriggers between 31-34 feet deep. Most of the fish were caught on pink hoochies behind sling blades. For bait we used a dark red fire corn and berkley maggots. The sent that all the fish were caught on was shrimp. There were also a couple fish caught on a pink spin and glow. We trolled as slow as possible but fast enough to make our gear have action. We landed 10 kokanee, released 2 trout and 1 bullhead. It was a pretty god day of fishing I think.
