I've fished these ponds since the beginning of the summer and have only caught largemouth bass. Most of the bass I caught at the beginning of the summer were 1/2 to 3/4lbs. I won't tell you what I was using for bait because it took me a long time to figure it out. Needless to say, the rest of the summer was outstanding consisting of bass ranging from 1lb to one 4lb and two 3lb largemouth. In the middle of July a 7 pound largemouth snapped my 6lb Stren line in half.
I'd still really be interested in catching some smallmouth and learning some tips on catfishing in this area. Maybe I can exchange some info with somebody. My E-mail address is [email protected]
