Just a brief report on some lakes to take the kids to. A fantastic and
highly productive trip is in store for those "fisherpersons" who venture
to Ellensburg. In series of small lakes just out of town you will find
average sized trout 9 - 12 inch, and great small mouth bass 2lbs up to
about 6lbs. Last weekend I fished at the grouping and found the fishing
fantastic! I limited in about 2hrs and my partner as well!
They are hitting hard on Roster Tails "natural trout" 1/8 and Super
Dupers"bright orange" small size. I mean the fish were so aggresive that
they would strike the second the luer hit the water and then proceed "if
you had'nt set the hook" to strike again and again. My 5 year old daughter
caught 3 good sized trout "10-13" as well.
