I was at the lake for about 3 hours, 7 to 10am, still fishing and got my first around 7:30am. He bit, I jerked, Hook up! Then the line goes slack. Oh shoot I lost him. Then a fish jumps less than 3 feet away from me in the boat and I am still reeling. He is still there. I heave him over the side of the boat. He is the largest kokanee in my boat since 6-16-14 (when I got this boat). I forgot to measure him until his head was off so I didn’t. He was heavy, too. The fish have gained weight in the last month.
It took about 40 minutes to get the next one., She also shot up and out of the surface then I flung her into the boat. This happened just after the jet ski came out to play. I think I had 2 bites in the next hour an half. It was hard to see the bite with all the bouncing waves from the jet ski. I got my last fish about 9:30am. I called it a day with the 3. When I put the fish out for the camera I noticed one had lip damage. It probably got away from a trolling fisher.
The water was 72 on the surface. I was anchored in approximately 50 feet of water on the north east side of the lake. I used Wannafish A Lure Still-fishing spinners with real maggots and green label Pautzke eggs. It was mostly cloudy after a full day of rain on Saturday.

Izorline Platinum on reels and lures.

We are in a battle! Angler against fish! We need an arsenal of weapons and at my site you will find some of those different weapons. For all those who wannafish a lure come in and take a look at WannafishALure.com.
