A bit windy Sunday but what a reward for fighting the wind, this 28 inch 7 1/2 pound male walleye(I am hoping the picture uploads). We were about a half mile into Lind Coulee from the boat launch when this monster hit. My wife did an excellent job of playing him, it took her about five minutes of strong runs to get him in the boat. The wind started laying down about 1:00 so we went back out in the main lake to check with our friends in another boat. They had some nice perch and one walleye about 17 inches. We tied our boats together to have lunch and just left the wind drift us with a couple poles dragging bottom walkers and double whammys, we picked up a few more perch as well as several slot large mouth bass and a bunch of cat fish(all c/r) so the rest of the day we would run to the north side of the lake tie the boats together and let the wind drift us between .08 and 1 mph. with three adults and one ten year old boy fishing we end the day with about sixty perch all over ten inches, six walleye from 17 inches to 28 inches, c/r about 20 large mouth and 50-60 cat fish. The bonus of the day was spending time with great friends and of course the best fishing buddy I could have, my wife.

The cat fish were all about 10-12 inches, the water level is way lower then I have ever seen it.
