Gave Fazon a try today to see if I could rid it of some of it's recent 'bow plants. No such luck...I didn't take the boat because I thought it was a 'no fish from boat unless you want some buck shot' time of year? Anyway, the lake was up to the parking lot but no one else was there.
It was sprinkling and the air temp was around 55 F. The water didn't feel much colder. I put on my waders and threw some spinners from the end of the launch. Missed a couple and brought a 5" bow and a 6" smallie to my boot. I tried some red balls of fire with a garlic mellow about two feet from the bottom with no luck.
Only one other car showed up and they just used the bathroom. A lot of water fowl and very quiet. A great trip out over all.
