Two of us in the boat hit the water around 7 not as warm as it could have been but a great weather day lake was like a mirror. left launch and headed out to the north west corner of the lake anchored in 35 foot of water went nice and slow cause it was chilly. spread out a lite cast of chum eggs and cream corn and slip shotted for trout using power bait. left the water at about noon we brought home nine fish 3 over 14 inches and a pound apiece and our smallest was an 11 incher what a great mess of trout and from our local lake remember the rules are only two + 14 inches so bring a tape so you know cause these fish average between 13 and 14 inches with the occasional over 20 it is hard to eyeball between 13 and 14 inchers without a tape
