This was our first time this year to fish Moses Lake so I took my little man out fishing at the north end of the lake and was on the water at 7:15. Fished in 12-16 FOW and only caught a single smalleye and a butt load of snags. After about an hour and a half we went south by the rock pile in front of the big cabin house. That was when the bite was on. We caught all fish in 8-10 FOW using plain slow death hooks and slow death with green smile blades. The plain hook out fished the set up with the smile blade.
We ended up with 10 walleye of which we kept 5 of them between 16-20”. We managed to catch a 3lb trout on the green smile blade set up and a decent size smallmouth bass. All in all it was a pretty good day of fishing. The last couple years Moses Lake had been very bad for us, but maybe this year will be better as we are off to a good start.

We fished south of I90 Sunday, and the bite was off for us. Was wondering how up north was doing, should have ran up there!
