Mother’s Day was always good for me at Clear Lake but not this time, 5-10-15. I started fishing around 6:30am. I trolled over to where I was going to still fish and had a rainbow on, that released its self at the boat. I anchored and used half my chum with nothing to show for it. I moved out a bit deeper and as time goes by I get a very nice kokanee in the boat. That was the only bite I had still fishing.
At 8 I started trolling and had several bites with a trout releasing itself at the boat. 9:30 I headed to the launch because I still had to go to work.
The day before it had been in the 80’s but this morning was cloudy. The air temp was 45 and the water temperature was 63.
