5/13/2015 4:00:00 PMSo did you really go to Long lake in Stevens county, or did you go to Lake Spokane in Spokane County, not realizing it's not really Long Lake? I just want to get this report categorized correctly.

5/13/2015 7:28:00 PMLong Lake is in both Stevens and Spokane County unless you are talking about the Long Lake that is in only Stevens County. If so then that would not be the Lake Spokane that we all know and love that is in both Stevens and Spokane County, but instead the "Long Lake" almost no knows or cares about. Since almost nobody really cares about the other "Long Lake", and almost everyone calls Lake Spokane -- Long Lake, then what's the problem?

5/13/2015 10:35:00 PMsmitty - Was the campground at the Nine Mile Resort? You would have crossed the river on Charles Rd in front of the Nine Mile Falls Dam to get there. That's lake Spokane known to us long time locals as "Long Lake". It is listed on this site as Lake Spokane in Spokane County.

5/15/2015 9:03:00 PMI agree with you fiznwtrs! It is Long Lk. If your from here anyone knows that. My families cabin is there and its always been Long Lake. Though some do call it Lake Spokane for some reason? You know it is 25 miles LONG! Hence the name...........
