Got off to a late start after spending a couple hours under the hood of my truck. With all the cloud cover I figured there would be less boat activity out on the lake and I was right. Launched at Stan Sayers around 10:30 and the only boats out were anchored in the cove by Seward park. Fished my usual loop headed to Mercer island and didn't mark many fish on the west side at all. Once I got to the east side of the lake I hit the mother load. Marked both bait and good sized fish from 20' all the way to 80'. Had to play with the depth on my downrigger a few times but hit my first fish at 35' a 10" rainbow. Wasn't what I was looking for so I made another pass and had my first Cutthroat of the day in the boat within minutes. Made my way south along the shoreline in 90 plus fow and dropped the downrigger 10' and landed my second fish that was almost the same size as the first. Headed west to take a break from trolling to do some bass fishing by Seward park and before I could raise my downrigger my rod went off again with my biggest fish of the day. Since I had a bit farther to go I kept trolling and managed to catch my last cutthroat of the day about 60' from shore. Once I made it to Seward park I switched gear and threw everything but kitchen sink and the only bass I could get to strike was a 6" smallmouth. Decided to call it a day and was off the water by 1:30.

It couldn't be any more fun doing what ya did on Monday I've done it myself many times ,I sure you know with enough time that really big one
hooks up and straightens out the ole line and bends over the poll so far over ,Your first reaction this is the one I've been waiting for as you heart races when ya look out over the water and see something in the distance coming out of the water that looks like a rocket that launched from below. Yes that is what we all wait for that one magic moment I'm sure you know what I mean . Like D j said those are some nice fish . I'm sure have heard the old saying only 10% of those who fish catch 90% of the fish Hum ! well what else can be said , it just gets better.
