Arrived at the lake, and began trolling at 7 am. By 930 am, had four kokes, and one trout, that had a three foot piece of line hanging out of his mouth. There were others fishing. some trolling. I seemed to be the hot boat. I was doing what i did yesterday. Lost perhaps six fish, and had numerous drive bys. Was done by 930. Spent another hour chatting with a nice fellow and his dog. It was getting warm out allready. By 730 am, was just in t-shirt. Schools of fish i saw were from 38-50' deep. I did not get a bump from these deeper fish. Saw very few in the 29-32' range i was working. But got bit. odd! Where these deeper fish, even kokanee? Must have been. but, who knows? i used to fish this lake, at that depth, and that was fine. Not now. Ideas?

Thanks for the last two reports Doc, I'll be taking my grandson to clear tomorrow morning, I have mostly done very well there, but haven't
been there yet this year. Your secret does have me second guessing my usual methods at clear.
Tight Lines, Kokapaw
