I tried some fishing at the Mosseyrock Dam fishing area, off of Highway 12. It was sunny and windy. The fishing calendar rated it a Good day. I got there at 6:10 in the evening. I counted five other people fishing at various times, while I there. I caught two small ones, too little to keep. I was using shrimp or worms or a worm/shrimp combo for bait. They all worked about the same. I was fishing 30 feet down and 6 feet down.
Not very many bites at all for anybody. I didn't see anybody else catching any fish. I've tried it several times out there. Had very little luck out there. Seems to be an off year to me.
