6/18/2015 6:56:00 PMI fish rather light by some angler's standards; no more than 6 lb. test main line and never more than 4 lb.test leader. I have caught fish to over 6+ Lbs. from Sprague Lake, W. Medical and Badger Lake in E. WA with such a still fishing setup on a UL/L spinning rod in 6 1/2' - 8 1/2' length.
Those "Big Boys" felt every bit as big as any 3 - 4 Lb.+ rainbow from any lake. The W. Medical Lake rainbows fight very HARD and with the lake's usual weedy and at times snaggy bottom…Hard to tell.
