Another great day out fishing for mid day kokes. They are everywhere in this lake. Met ArrowNaughtic and a few other anglers from this site.

Caught 3 fish smack in the middle of the lake. Lost a few then landed my last two by the north end. The Kokes are starting to get really fat around the 14-15 inch range with an occasional 12 incher. 25-30ft down on the wire. Tight lines!

Nice job, it's nice to get out mid day and catch fish!! I know the feeling been busy with family but hope to get more time on the water now that school it out for the summer. Might make the trip up and give it a try looks like some very nice fish way to go.

Hey D j sounds like time to try stacking 2 on the wire and figure out if it takes half the time to catch a limit . I've got the OK from the doc so I'll be putting in some time on the pond now , If ya see an old electric downrigger on a little green boat most likely be me testing some gear and different ways of catching fish . I liked the last video You did , every picture tells a story don't it . If the rest haven't figured it out by now , well ?
See ya out there soon I hope .

Hey DJ, I missed you out there the other night, guess you spanked 'em before I got there! Talked with machewbacca and he told me you had already come and gone home with your limit, nice! I started fishing about 3:00 and ended up getting my limit by the time I left at around 6 pm.
Hope to get with you guys soon and head over to Merwin or possibly some other lake closer to home. Pinks are coming!

Hey dj, nice catch. Went out for the first time today. I see you've said they are on the north end of the lake. I did not go back there. I was maybe half way up. Had 3 bites within 1 hr but was not able to get them on. My first time maybe I was doing something wrong when I tried to reel them in. After that, was there for another hour and no more bites. I will go back and go north of the lake. Nice fish! Hope I can get one soon and maybe see you out there some time. Thanks again for the tips you gave me!

No problem Mike!! I'm sure we will cross paths very soon!

Bob- ya I actually saw you as I was leaving! I hammered out a limit pretty easily that afternoon. I'll be giving you a call soon so we can link up! I look forward to the pink run.

Nice looking fish. I've been reading a lot about guys catching them on lead core line or downriggers. Does anyone know if you can catch them just pulling planer boards with inline weights?
