Went on our yearly fishing trip to blue lake and fished it 6/23-6/26. Had decent fishing. Caught 16 fish between 7 people. The fish are all holding down at the bottom of the lake during the day but then as the afternoon comes around the fish follow the shade along the rock cliffs. We were using Captain America power bait and just drifted along those walls in the afternoon. 5:00 till about 8:30 was the best time frame for us. Never had any luck in the morning but did have some bites. Your best bet for blue lake is to drift the lake close to shore and hope you come across a fish swimming by. Other than that it was a pretty decent year of fishing. Lots of fun and made some great memories.
