Well we headed back to Alder lake again for another round. Got there a little late around 9ish or so. The level is getting low so the launch is almost done. It was crystal clear when we arrived and could see the bottom of the lake all around at the dock's edge. There is a large hole from power loading or where the have dug it out to load? Anyway stick to the right side if your looking down the ramps. A bit deeper but still be careful as it is only a few feet deep as you push away but then drops off so if you can drift 10 feet out you will be ok.

We hit our normal spot and caught a few 12" fish then it dried up so we headed to the main part over by the dam and passed someone heading in and they had done well in the no wake zone, so we headed that way after doing a few passes in the main lake hole. Picked up a few more there and then headed up the finger. First time up in this part of the lake and there are fish all over on the FF. We picked up a handful or so of fish and a couple of nice RB. We stopped for lunch on the shore towards the last big open spot before it gets super small and enjoyed a nice lunch. I was starting to feel hot as I had taken my shirt off for a bit, well that was a mistake I am lobster red on my back and it does not feel so great today......oh well.

We picked up and headed home after lunch but before we did, we took a run up the lake to see what there was never been. Nice areas alot of ski boat up there and then the lake got to 20 feet so we turned around and headed back in. The launch was a joke there were pontoon boats two of them waiting to launch one guy just back down and kept going till it finally came off the trailer I think he might of gotton water in his rig? I was thinking tow truck time but he made it out ok. I beached the boat 20' to the left of ramps and it's deep there right up to shore.

Great day had a ton of fun and came home with 11 fish some clipped some not and a few nice RB for the wife. Hope to get back out today or tomorrow as my son's friend the one we took last time to summit lake wants to fish so we picked him up last night and are planing on taking him out again!!!!! Another one hooked for life!

Thanks for the report. I may have to try on Monday...If they don't lower it.
Just to let you know those rainbows were coastal cutthroat. Natives.

Thanks Toni, I forgot to add that all the fish came using Wanna fish a lure orange and gold and bloody Mary wedding rings tipped with corn and dipping sauce and bloody tuna garlic did the trick for us. Hope you make it out you should have no problem unless it drops 3-4 feet then no one will make it but carry in's. Then they will get all the fun!
