I have caught several fish well over that size and even during cold weather months and they are not that good. I cook them all the same way and the smaller fish are incredible! Big ones....not so good. Kind of mushy. So I have elected to just take some quick picks and let them go after that. BUT! When I get one that is worthy of stuffing, I will. Any you folks do what you want, I am not telling anyone anything! I'm just curious if anyone else has noticed the same thing, Also, I fry all of my walleye, perch and crappie. That is a great walleye! did you get it on light gear?
