A long morning of trolling the west and north side of the island. Fish were deep and had lockjaw. Had four rods out with pink cha cha rigs, guilded lilly, orange cha cha, and finally a cop car spoon. Fished 70/50/40/30 and in the upper 20 feet. Eventually getting hits by long lining the spoon, but nothing stuck. Water temp was 49-51 and there were definitely schools all around, just nothing that wanted our offering of shoe peg corn in bloody tuna, shrimp and fire corn scents. Frustrating to see the schools and nothing would bite. Maybe we should have stopped and dropped on them? Good morning with my brother though and the boat is now running great, so all was good at the end of the day.

Thanks for the report, I spent 5 -6 hours out there yesterday with two drive bye's. Got the blood pumping for a quick minute. I was really surprised to see the parking lot almost full. Been a long time for that many boaters to show up for fishing, it did help the water temp with all the boats heating up the water just what this lake needs.....lol. Few more degrees and the lock jaw should be over. I did talk with two guys in the parking lot as I was leaving who got a few RB's but no kokes. Tight lines.

Friday morning I had one fish near the net before it came unbuttoned. Looked like about a 12-incher. No other bites in 3 hours of trolling.
